Shower cubicle installation:

The installation of the corner shower cubicle can be done in a few hours. It all depends on your skills and the tools available. Those who choose to install a shower cabin on their own, but who have no experience of their own, do not need to worry. This task can also be solved without specialist knowledge.

Step 1:

First you need to attach the mounting profiles in the vertical position and check them with a spirit level. The distances must be measured very precisely so that the doors of the shower cubicle can close properly after installation. Mark and drill the hole positions. After that you have to insert the dowels and mount the aluminum profiles with the screws.

Step 2:

Insert the side parts of the shower cubicle into the mounting profiles. Then check the vertical position of the shower walls with the spirit level and fasten with the screws.

Step 3:

Fasten the door hinges to the side walls of the shower cubicle. Then hang the revolving doors on the hinges and screw them tight. Place the rubber seals on the doors with magnets and check that they close properly. In case the doors drag or fail to close completely, you need to fine-tune them.

Step 4:

Seal the edge areas of the shower cubicle to the walls and the shower tray with silicone. While pulling the trigger of the dispensing gun, guide the tip of the cartridge evenly along the joint. Then smooth the sealant smooth with a putty knife dipped in soapy water. Silicone takes about 24 hours to harden through. During this period, as far as possible, no water should get onto the joints. When the silicone seal is completely dry, you can enjoy the shower process immediately.
